    One thing that is broken is #federation. At least with #Mastodon instances ... I think the half-working #ActivityPub plugin makes even instances that still support #OStatus attempt to communicate over AP instead. The result is that on some instances, posts from here only show up by directly @ mentioning someone. (Same applies for #Pleroma instances running 'develop' and no longer OStatus-capable.)

    When I see it and it gets frustrating, I remember that someone did this on purpose.
